Autumn has been dancing for more than 35 years and teaching for more
than 20 years. She trained nationally and internationally in Ballet (Russian,
Cecchetti, Balanchine, Danish, and Royal Academy methods), Modern, Jazz, Tap,
Hip Hop, Improvisation, Capoeira, and West African. Autumn graduated with an
MFA in Dance from UC Irvine and a BA magna cum laude from Santa Clara
University in Theater and Dance, Dance Emphasis. She has worked
professionally as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher in Australia, Austria,
Czech Republic, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Ukraine, Venezuela,
and throughout the U.S. In addition to teaching at several dance studios,
Autumn chaired and directed the Dance Department in the Conservatory of the
Arts at Valley Christian High School in San Jose for 9 years where she
developed the first honors dance class accredited in the state of California
and coached the Dance Team for 6 years.
She has choreographed over 300 pieces for ages 3-adult. Her work has
been showcased in graduate choreography concerts at UC Irvine as well as at
Project Dance in NYC and the Pasadena Dance Festival. She and her husband
have 3 beautiful children. She is excited to contribute to the ongoing excellent
dance training at Tustin Dance Center!
