Maile
is a seasoned dance professional with high profile arts administration
experience. Comfortable and capable on both sides of the proscenium, her
logical sensibilities and creative passion make her able to communicate
effectively and work cohesively with everyone from accountants to actors. An
organized and a self-motivated leader, she is dedicated to Performing Arts
awareness and its local and global accessibility.
After 15 years of steadfast dedication to Irish Dancing, Maile earned
countless local, regional and national titles as well as the opportunity to
compete in the World Championships in Ireland. At Fullerton College she
immersed herself in a strict regiment of classical dance training before
transferring to Chapman University in Orange, California where she earned her
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance.
Throughout college, Maile worked as a dancer at the Disneyland Resort and
taught dance at local schools and studios. Post graduation, she studied at
New York University where she earned a certificate in Arts Administration.
Her professional career then grew to encompass more administrative and
managerial roles at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts & with the Goddard
Group where she choreographed and oversaw daily operations of the “Glow in
the Park Parade” for Six Flags Theme Parks across the United States.
Throughout her contract as Dance Captain with "Battle of the
Dance," Maile was featured on local news programs, created choreography
and supervised the cast of 25+ dancers. In addition, she was an integral
member of the team that brought the show to the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in
Las Vegas.
Maile also spent a couple of years in the South Pacific dancing in the Las
Vegas style shows produced by the Baldyga Group in Saipan and Guam.
